Muhammad Kamal Hassan graduated with a Master’s Degree in Highway and Transportation Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a B.Eng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Mara Malaysia. His portfolio includes consultancy services, research and education in traffic and transportation engineering. 

Some of his notable works includes traffic and transportation studies for Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) and the Tun Razak Exchange.

In Atur Trafik, he leads and conducts traffic impact assessments, feasibility studies and other related traffic and transportation studies.

His area of expertise are Microsimulation Traffic Modeling, Highway, Public Transportation and Urban Mobility.
